The album “The Death of the Image” by Moscow composer Yuri Vinogradov reflects his searches in philosophy. Graduated epistemologist, Yuri always combines music and philosophical speculations.
This time he speculates on death and life of image as a part of our relationships with reality. Whether image is our memories or idea, it tends to replace actions and wishes in crystalised and transformed way.
The death of the image can be described as a melancholy or sadness and at the same time it can be a return to reality. With his music Vinogradov makes the same statement.
