Two-man band from Moscow Личка (Lichka) combines raw “black metal-like” methodology of recording and the energy of emo and punk guitar riffs. That’s why their first EP is called “Black Punk”. Of course not without self-irony.
The first track “Быть пустым” (“Be hollow”) is influenced by Russian garage bands of the 90’s. “Кто-то” (“Someone”) sets between screamo and emo stylistics, while bonus track “Слушай песню ветра” (“Hear the Wind Sing”) pays tribute both to Haruki Murakami’s early novel and Russian 2007’s guitar music.
